HEALTH CARE FACILITY
Care + Connect is a mental and dental facility located in Sooke, British Columbia. The facility's name is inspired by a human need for connection and a feeling of belonging. Here, through the use of universal and inclusive design, all types of people feel welcome. The materials used in this space are all accessibility-friendly, such as sheet vinyl flooring for its non-slip properties, as well as hardwood and ceramic tile.
Most of the spaces are available for wheelchair access, including the reception/waiting area and the public washrooms. Acoustic properties such as acoustic ceiling tiles and wall types have been incorporated into many of the rooms to allow for maximum enjoyment and productivity for both staff and patients. Overall, Care + Connect is a comforting and relaxing environment fit for any and every patient.
